RECTIFICATION

Rectification - AC Current को DC Current में Change करने वाले Equipment को Rectifier कहते हैं। and AC Current को DC Current में Convert करने की इस Process को Rectification कहते है, Rectifier Electric Current को Always एक ही Direction में बहने देता हैं दूसरी Direction में नहीं बहने देता है । Rectifier को Circuit में Series में जोड़ा जाता है। । इनको Half Wave and Full Wave Rectifier में Divide किया जाता है।

             HALF WAVE RECTIFIER 

- Vacuum Tube Diode or Solid State Diode से Rectification के लिये काम मे लिया जाता है। Half Wave Rectifier में एक Single Diode काम मे लिया जाता है।

जब Rectifier की Plate Positive होती है अर्थात यह Forward Bias पर होता है तो डायोड में से Current Flow करता है। and जब Plate Negative होती है अर्थात Diode Backward Bias पर होती है तो Diode से कोई Current Flow नही होता है।

Diode सिर्फ एक ही Direction में Current Flow होने देता है। अर्थात AC Input के Half Part में जब Diode Forward Twenty पर हो तो Current Flow होता है। यह Circuit Half Wave Rectifier कहलाता है। इनका Use मोबाइल and Dental Units में किया जाता है। इससे Exposure Time Double हो जाता है।

        

     FULL WAVE RECTIFIER 

Full Wave Rectifier में एक से ज्यादा Rectifier लगे होते हैं। AC Voltage A and B के Corner पर लगाया जाता है and Output

Resistance {(R) के Corner पर मिलता हैं। 

जब Point A Positive होता है तो D1 and D3 के द्वारा Current Flow होता है जो कि R के Corner पर Receive होता है। क्योंकि Diode D2 and D4 Backward Bias and D1 and D3 Forward Bias पर होते हैं। अगले Half Cycle में अब Point A Negative होता है and Point B Positive होता है। इस Time D2 and D4 Forward Bias में होते हैं and D1 and D3 Backward Bias पर होते हैं।

Current D2 and D4 से Flow होकर R के Corner पर Receive होता है। अत: Current Flow Whole Cycle में Resistance (R) पर Always एक ही Direction में Receive होता है। Resistance (R) पर Whole Cycle के दौरान Current मिलता है जो C से D की ओर होता है। अगर X-ray Tube को Resistance (R) पर Connect किया जाता है तो इसकी Polarity सदा एक समान होती है। Cathode Always Negative and Anode Always Positive होता हैं। इसे Full Wave Rectifier कहते हैं। इसके द्वारा Exposure Time Half हो जाता है।
