Alara principle एक Radiation Protection

Principle है। जो यह बताता हैं की Radiation से Protection कैसे किया जा सकता हैं । यह Radiation Protection का Fundamental Principle है।

इस Law के According किसी Human, Animal or Material ionizing Radiation Use में लाते है तो Radiation उतना कम होना चाहिए जितना Low Practically Received किया जा सके।

Alara Radiation Protection Principal Dose में में कमी करने and Radiation Radioactive Materials & Atmosphere Emission को सभी By Reasonable Methods से रोकने पर Based हैं: Alara सिर्फ एक Radiation Protection Principal नहीं है But यह सभी Radiation Protection Program के लिए एक Regulatory Requirement है। Alara Accreditation उन सभी Activities का एक Integral Part है जिसमें Radiation or Radioactive Substances का Use Include and Unnecessary Radiation Exposure or Over Exposure के Risk को भी रोकने में Help कर सकता है।

IMPORTANCE OF ALARA PRINCIPLE

Importance of Alara Principle Time,Distance and Shielding Three Main

Principle हैं जो Alara को Dose Maintain रखने

में Help करते हैं।

Time

 Exposure के Time को कम करने से Radiation Dose को Straight Work किया जा सकता है। Over Time Absorbed Dose Increases हैं and घटने के साथ Absorbed Dose Decrease है। Radiation Exposure Time को घटा कर Radiation Dose घटाया जा सकता हैं।

Distance 

Radiation Electromagnetic Radiation होता है, अतः यह Inverse Square Law का पालन करता हैं। अतः जैसे-जैसे Patient की Radiation Source से दुरी बढ़ती जाएगी Patient पर गिरने वाले Radiation Dose की Quantity कम होती जाएगी। Patient and Radiation Source के बीच की दुरी Double करने पर Exposure की Quantity 1/4 हो जाती हैं।

Shielding 

Lead and Lead Equivalent Material की Shielding X-ray and Gamma Radiation से rescue का एक effective method है, lead apron, mobile lead Shields, Lead Glasses, and Lead Barriers Etc. Shielding के Work में आने वाले Different Types के Equipment है। Radiation Area में Work करते Time इन Shielding Material का Use करना Necessary है।
